Challenge



1. Identification and analysis of key issues (/15):
Insightful and thorough understanding of the main problems affecting the delivery industry, its costumers. Candidates should also consider and describe other alternative solutions whilst justifying why their's proves most effective. They should identify potential issues with their solution and prepose means of mitigating them.

2. Specificity (/10):
The project should outline exactly what steps can be taken to cope with the pandemic and the current condition of the market. It should not be too vague or open to interpretation, laying out a clear series of detailed steps to execute the proposed solution.

3. Practicality (/15)
The project/solution submitted should be possible to execute with reasonable level of resources, including financial ones. Logical points are presented and supported via evidence and research. The solution must also demonstrate an adherence to any relevant laws or regulation regarding the delivery industry.

4. Identification of Externalities (/5)
Would a change in the methods/strategies of delivery used cause other problems (pollution, etc.)? Could it help improve a company's brand image?

5. Relevance (/15)
This challenge is specific to the delivery industry and solutions submitted should seek to reflect that. Solutions should attempt to address key areas of the delivery industry.

6. Long Term Efficacy (/15)
Can the solution be carried over post-lockdown/post-pandemic? Could it tackle problems faced by the deliver industry besides the effects of the pandemic (Last Mile Delivery, etc.)?

7. Originality (/15)
What new concepts does the project bring to the table? What sets it apart from existing ideas and competition?

8. Presentation and Report(/10)
Candidate's presentation is professional and unique. They should perhaps consider creating a mock up or prototype of their solutions (Design a program, website, marketing video, etc.) .
*Note that it is important to clearly explain and outline the problem your solution tackles and the means by which it does so as part of any submission. Candidates are able to do this in any means they wish as part of their presentation, however, if their submissions is in the form of a website, prototype software or they simply feel they haven't clearly provided a brief overview of their solution, they must submit a one page report outlining the problem their solution tackles and the means by which it does so.
